Recently, David Ortiz addressed the fact that thus far, he has been slumping this year. And he has. He really hasn't done much and certainly isn't really hitting. However, he is not worried, and showed his lack of concern with the t-shirt you see him sporting here (top picture). Also, he told the press, "I'll be back. Write that [expletive] down."I'm one of the people who thinks that he may be done, although last season he also got off to a slow start (to whit: recall last season with the jersey buried under the new Yankee Stadium, bottom picture). Certainly he wasn't the dominant force that we know and love in Boston for most of the year and I feel that it's unlikely he will return to his heyday. But still. You've just gotta love him.
